I take the R2 bus to Woking and then a train from Woking to Weymouth. This is the easiest way, especially if you have a lot of luggage. If you take a train directly from Heathrow to Weymouth, you must change at Waterloo, which can be highly stressful with luggage.
Pro tip: sit in one of the first five carriages. The last five will split off at Bournemouth. Trust me, moving a lot of luggage through the carriages is not fun! It’s better to be in the front five to start.
